Who I am

I am a one woman company, based in Oxford, offering a service of decluttering, space management and interior design, on a mission to help people make the most of their homes and work places. I am by no means perfect myself when it comes to keeping my own space tidy and there are certainly corners of my home that could still benefit from some attention. However, I do know what works, and I am full of ideas about how to help you find the solutions to whatever space, design, decoration, decluttering or cleaning issues you have, and the energy and enthusiasm to make them happen.

I have a degree in Art from Exeter University, which is where I developed an eye for colour, a love of form and developed my passion for design. Far from throwing paint around however, I was always the careful print-maker with the neatest workspace in the studio! My working life has for the most part been in Marketing, currently for Oxford University. A career in event managing and publicity has helped nurture my organisational skills, attention to detail and knowledge of how to make things look good and do the job they were designed for. My creativity is allowed expression in the numerous parties I have designed the theme and decorated for, the costumes I have created, and the set design and production I have worked on for a local theatre company.

What I do: De-cluttering, space management and interior design

I take great satisfaction in tackling a seemingly insurmountable pile of paperwork, finding the best way to file the important stuff and clearing out the rest - to give someone an office where their mind is free to concentrate and get on with the work of the day.

We all have possessions - some more than others! I'll help you decide what you really need and want to keep, where it should live or be stored, and how to dispose of the things you can do without, whether that be recycling, donating, selling or simply taking to the tip!

I believe that simple, cost effective changes can make a world of difference to a room. By bringing in lighting to enhance a mood, painting a wall to freshen it up, putting possessions on show, not so they fill the space, but to best display them, a tired lounge or messy bedroom can become a place of comfort, fun or repose. Most importantly I believe that you should be at ease in your home, both in body and spirit.

Sometimes it's just hard work that counts to get a job done. I enjoy a challenge I can really get my teeth into, and I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get on with it.

My portfolio of projects is small but growing but I hope the comments and pictures from a selection of recent jobs will show what I can achieve - and what I would love the chance to do more of!
