Anthea's House Project

What started out as a plan to reorganise the cupboards in the utility room and kitchen and to think about a better filing system in the study, turned into a project to identify the real problem areas and to tackle them.

What Anthea had to say:

"Before Liz came to reorganise and de-clutter my house, I had a hell cupboard under the stairs, things falling out of the kitchen cupboards, drawers full of batteries, string, Sellotape and electrical wires, all tangled up together, and no room to put my clothes away. Now I can find everything, I have no clutter and all my drawers and cupboards shut!

Six months on and the systems Liz put in place for me are still working and I feel in control of my possessions rather than the other way around. I know I could have done this myself but I don't think I would ever had got around to it, or got through it without Liz, and she had so many good ideas about storage that never would have occurred to me."

 The study

The office had become a dumping ground for clutter and toys

Now it is a bright, orderly space in which to work

 The lounge

Toys had taken over in the living room

With kid's clutter reallocated, the lounge is a grown up room in which to relax

 The bedroom

Stuffed drawers, cluttered surfaces, jumbled shelves, more toys and general disorder.......

...with some rationalisation and de-cluttering, the bedroom is restored to calm and restfulness.
